Molecular Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing

Our Mission

Our MissionOur MissionOur Mission

A new standard for antibiotic susceptibility research assays.

Welcome to Evolve Consortium

At Evolve Consortium, we have developed a novel solution for antibiotic susceptibility testing (Research Use Only - RUO). Our innovative technology and assay, Molecular Antibiotic Susceptibility Testing (AST), evaluates phenotypic susceptibility through a custom molecular processes, rather than traditional culture methods.

Molecular AST combines the sensitivity and specificity advantages of established PCR methods with a unique and comprehensive phenotypic analysis—providing the crucial missing piece in rapid research diagnostics. With a turnaround time of less than 24 hours, our solution significantly reduces the time to actionable results compared to conventional culture-based methods.

To learn how this advanced RUO testing technology can differentiate your laboratory, contact us today.

Molecular Phenotypic AST closes the gap

between traditional culture & PCR assays

How do we get a phenotypic result from a molecular process?

We expose the organism to antibiotics in a manner similar to traditional culture methods, but using the full sample rather than a single colony. Instead of measuring genes, we use PCR to monitor the growth of the organism—where growth in the presence of antibiotics indicates the phenotypic expression of resistance.
